United Methodist Children's Home & Mission Home of Texas

We take up a special donation on Christmas Eve for these organizations. The Methodist Children's Home offers hope to children, youth, and families through a nurturing Christian community. We support the Waco campus, which includes a nearby Boys Ranch. It is located on 130 acres in northwest Waco. The residential program serves 180 children, ages 12 to 18, who are unable to live at home for various reasons. The Boys Ranch is located near Axtell, 10 miles northeast of Waco. The Ranch program helps boys who are beginning to behave in ways that are in conflict with the norms of society. The Children's Home is accredited and licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and the Council on Accreditation (COA) of Services for Families and Children. Methodist Mission Home serves people experiencing major life transitions so they may reach their goals.  CLICK HERE to view the website.

A Wish with Wings

We donate used ink cartridges to provide funds to grant wishes to Texas children with life threatening diseases. A Wish with Wings' sole purpose is to grant the wish of a child in need and bring a ray of hope and happiness into their lives during a time of sorrow and despair. The organization works closely with children’s hospitals, child life specialists, and physicians. The ink cartridge collection basket is located in the Friendship Hall.  CLICK HERE to view the website.
